Z arrived at the platform for the train. He stepped out anf heard someone calling: "First years this way please" In a deep voice. He followed the voice soon discovering it was the one of a giant with a huge beard. He followed the person into a boat. He was the one holdinng the lantern of this boat. He heard a voice saying to leave his bagaes in the trai and he did so. He wasn't sure what to do with Kheops, His owl. He decided to leave him with his bagages and wonderd where they where going i the boats.

Kita sat down next to Z with Gio on her lap. She looked at Z. She snuck some glances at him but did not start a conversation. She stroked Gio gently and smiled.

"Hi" Z said to the girl "You took your pet with you?"

She smiled at him.

"My cat, Gio, he's really shy aroundb new people. He's also good behaved, so I can trust him. Besides, cats don't like water anyway so he wouldn't want to jump out of the boat anyway," she said.

"So what spells do you know, or do you know any? I learned a few, but not much..." she said.

"I learned a levitating spell" He put his watch on the table and flicked his wand "Winguardium Leviosa" The watch started liftinng up. The watch fell back down when Z broke the spell. he put back aroud his watch ad turned to Kita "What about you?" He asked.

"Wow that was amazing!" she said.

"Lumos," she said. Her wand began to glow.

"Oh and check this out. This may be a bit bright, but oh well!" she said, laughing a little, "Lumos Maxima!"

A huge light flooded a large area around the boat. She then called it off. Her face then lit up as if she had an idea. She pointed her wand at the sky and said it. A ball of light shot into the sky and exploded into light like a firework.

"That was so cool! I didn't know it could do that. I know a few other spells but they're not that good she said..." being modest again.

"Wow! Amazing. You need to teach me that! I knew the Lumos spell, not Lumos Maxima" Z said with wide eyes. He then heard Hagrid clappping his hands. He tearned his head to see the whole boat was lookig at Kita. "Whats your name by the way?"

Kita's eyes went wide when she saw everyone was watching. She felt awkward.

"Um, my name is Kita, Kita Moonflower," she said.

"Am I in trouble? I'm really sorry if it hurt your eyes you see I was just showing my friend..." she said, babbling on and about how sorry she was.

"Hahaha why would you possible be sorry?" Hagrid said "I never saw a first yeard do that before" Z was slightly jalous but was happy for Kitta. He leaded back in the boat wondering if he could do that.

"Really? Thank you so much!" she said.

She glanced at Z's face. For a split second she saw jealousy. She suddenly turned to Hagrid.

"Oh but my friend here.. er..." she began realizing she didn't know his name," Well anyway he did a really cool spell!" she said.

Z was surprised Kita had gone through his mask that life had forged of his face. "Kurogane" Z said "Everyone calls me Z though."

"Oh. Well Z then. Nice to meet you! My name is Kita as you just heard," she said, "Oh look, we're at the castle!"

The small boat docked at the castle. They were about the sixth boat to reach the castle. Kita jumped out.

Z followd, flickig his wand around. He was thinking about some cool spell he could do.

Inside there was a line of First Years waiting to be sorted. Kita turned to Z behind her.

"What house do you want to be in? My dad said I'll probably be in Ravenclaw. I'd like that, but I don't mind Griffindor. I don't want to be Slytherin though, and I don't really like Hufflepuff," said Kita.

"I really don't know. I don't have any special talent I know of. Its probaly Hufflepuff for me" Z said with a totally neutral voice.

The line slowly grew shorter. Soon Kita was up. She stood up and sat on the chair. A hat was place on her head. She continually chanted in her head "Ravenclaw, Ravenclaw, Ravenclaw..." as she awaited the hat's decision.

The hat was mumbling. "You would do well i Gryffindor.... But Hufflepuff will take your loyalty in value.... But you true potetiall is in...... RAVENCLAW!" Z clapped as he knew Kita wanted to go i ravenclaw. Finally, it was his turn. He sat dow and put the hat on his head.

Kita laughed and ran to sit with Ravenclaw. Then she watched Z. The hat mumbled around.

"Hm loyal. Hint of jealousy. You're smart. You belong in............ RAVENCLAW!" He cried.

Kita's face lit up. They were both in the same house.

Z was very happy thatb he was in the same house as his ew fried. He came to sit next to Kitta. "Haha! Were inn the same house!" He laughed. As the last persone went to Slytherin, Dumbledore started his usual speech.

Kita sat swinging her legs in her chair. She smiled through the speach. Then he stopped. Kita turned to Z. She grabbed a cornet from the banquet.

Z was eating scrambled eggs and was smiling his head off.

Kita ate the cornet subtly, ripping parts off the small end and dipping them in the chocolate at the fat end.

"So what's your first class?" asked Kita.

She continued to eat her cornet in this manner. She then took a cream puff. She took off the top, dipped it imto the cream and took bites out of it.

"Defense against the dark arts" Z replied. He thought it would be cool to have a interstinng class as his first. "What about you?"

"I have that too... Let me see that," said Kita.

Kita took his timetable. After inspecting it she declared, "We're in the same classes!"

She smiled at Z, pleased to be in his classes.

"Cool!" Z said. He then saw that they had Aiml care tommorow afternoon. "Thats nice"
